Favorite Music & Apple Music Playlists

Before you read this (if you’re on a computer), listen to this song while you read. It’s worth a listen!

I love music. No matter what is happening in my life, listening to new music and exploring different genres has always been something I’ve preoccupied myself with. As I go through different cycles, new music is introduced to me and becomes the soundtrack to that chapter of my life. A confusing and restless time in my life reflected introspective emotional music, while a time of growth and happiness was paired with upbeat positive songs. Lately, I’ve been organizing my favorite music into playlists on my Apple Music profile. Some represent spans of my life, while others reflect a moment or a feeling I wanted to hold onto.

One playlist that I have a lot of fun with is the “hypothetical tony hawk game playlist”. It’s a collection of songs that I think would be pair well with a new Tony Hawk video game, if a new one ever came out (the last one came out in 2015). This is my second year releasing one and I hope to make a new one annually because because I absolutely love this style of music.

Here are a few of my favorite Apple Music playlists I’ve made over the past few years. I’d love for you to download a few and follow me if you want to hear more!

Here’s a few albums and songs (new and old) I’ve been in love with recently that I highly recommend you check out if that’s more your thing! You may or may not see a few of these on my playlists!

Since I can’t help but post photos on my blog posts, I’ll leave you with a few 35mm shots. While looking for photos for my Tony Hawk Playlist project, I stumbled on these beautiful 35mm photos by Pauline Gallot. They definitely made me wish I shot more photos of the skaters in Venice during my time in LA. When I visit next, that’ll be the first place I go! Can’t beat that film look!
