Bonehead is inspired by the art of the Tlingit people of Southeast Alaska, but also borrows from many others. Large eyes reminiscent of the circular, Marquesan style and a curved "beak" better suited to a jungle bird than the usual Tlingit crow or eagle motif make the mug stand out. The multiple faces reflect the elaborate coastal totem poles. The whale vertebrae form also pays tribute to the Tlingit.

Mugs are ~4 inches tall, ~8 inches wide and hold ~20oz. Fired to Cone 5.
